  I am really glad that we found TLC Pediatrics! My son has Autism and I feel like they really take the time to work with him and make sure he feels comfortable with every procedure. That is huge! When a doctor will take the time to make sure they are speaking with a disabled child in a friendly and comfortable way that makes all the difference! He loves going to the doctor! I will say that we have had a lot of issue with the front desk woman. My husband is in the Union, so his work does not accept regular office notes stating our child had an appointment. Every single appointment that he attends has to be backed by FMLA paperwork to be approved. We have had issues with the front desk worker saying that the doctors may not fill out the forms because FMLA forms are usually for long term care. I explained to her that is not the case with his company and she said to not be surprised if they will not fill it out. Which I find odd. If I have to pay a $15 paperwork fee, we have not asked that you lie or give more time off than is deemed medically necessary, and we have to have this information so my husband can take our children to the doctor they why would the doctor not fill it out? Please note that the doctor has always filled out the paperwork and we have yet to find a situation where there was an issue for the doctor to fill out the paperwork. My complaint is purely about the emphasis the front desk woman places on the doctor possibly not filling out the paperwork... I mean it makes me nervous that they won't do it and he will lose his job. I shouldn't have to worry about that when his company has supplied us with a way around negative absences to the doctor.
